Autodoc is perfect for diy, ok prices and fast delivery. Thinking about doing this myself, maybe they have a discount on a carlift, a spring compression - thingymabob and all the other autoshop tools which are obviously needed for this diy operation.😮
Thank you for posting. It was helpful to me as I am doing this job. I do not mean to be critical, but with the driveshaft bolt, it looks as though you re-used the original bolt and did not specify a torque setting in the clip. That bolt is a torque-to-yield and is designed for one use only. It is to be torqued to 35Nm + 90 degrees from the information I was able to find.
Thanks for the valuable clarifications, we understand that mistakes were made during the replacement, we are working on them and will try to avoid them in new videos. AUTODOC
Useful video, but the mechanic didn't align the top strut mount and bearing ! there are marks on each part that should be aligned, also these two parts have to be aligned with the base coil holder plate !
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, for convenient access and maneuvers with a shock absorber, our mechanic was forced to dismantle the lever hinge. Best Regards, Autodoc team

I know some compress the spring in the car and then don't undo bottom bracket or drive shaft but think this way is far safer for us DIY guys
Where did you get the tool for when he stuck the socket into the split for the lower part of the strut to separate it. Around 4:05
Good 👍👍👍
I am pretty sure the wheel nuts are 110Nm. Worth mentioning that i personally own a torque wrench but i havn't used it yet.
Yes, you are right, it will be useful for us. Thanks for your attention.

It isn't necessary to separate the control arm.
Thank you for your comment.

Please check your torque values. They are mostly incorrect.
Thanks for your comment, we'll take that into account in the next videos.
Good vid but man did they make the car needlessly complicated.
Thank you for your comment.

Eliminate the distracting music
Don't use WD40 next to the brakes! , Every mechanic should know what!
Thank you for your valuable clarification, this will be very useful information for our viewers.

That WD40 and copper grease will still be there even if you use brake cleaner! That guy would be sacked in a real garage!
